"Le marche" immediately caught my attention, sparking a dozens of question, making me to look at the painting searching for the answers. That is what art should be, and in this case it really is. The topic is unique, the idea of underwater "carnival" with the elephants caring temple ruins on their back and colored sea creatures moving along with them is a creative realization. Mysticism of this painting is deep.

Technique seems to go up and down a bit, like that the artist gave priority to some image elements more than to others: coral reef is full of colors and details, while shiny water surface looks unfinished. Light contrast is so dramatic here: it creates interesting transition between green and dark-blue area, the impression of depth where the light loses its power. Combination of sharp and blurry areas with color spits adds dynamic to this slow and silenced company of land and sea creatures.

Underwater elephant mother with her baby growing a small temple on its back? Amazing.
